Itinerary

Day 1 Welcome to Saudi Arabia

Welcome to Saudi Arabia, Upon your arrival to Ryiadh international airport our guide will pick you up and get transferred in a private A/C vehicle to your chosen hotel.

Riyadh, the birthplace of modern Saudi Arabia, where old-world charm meets 21st-century vision. Riyadh Province – also known as Al-Wosta – is home to the country’s capital: a modern metropolis with a thriving financial and business centre, and a growing cultural scene. It’s a city rich in history, boasting myriad forts, palaces and museums, and some of the country’s most colorful souks.

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

Day 2 Riyadh city tour

After breakfast you will go on a guided tour to explore Ryiadh city, first visit is Ad Diriyah , northwest of the city and the original capital of the first Saudi state is a must-see. Its Al Turaif quarter, a carefully restored mud-brick district that was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010, offers a glimpse into the country’s extraordinary heritage.

At AL Diriyah you will visit the national museum for a historical brief about the kingdom history. Afterwards visit the King Abdulaziz Historical Center in Riyadh where artifacts from all periods are exhibited and with explanations about their historical significance.

Afterwards head to Al Masmak Fortress, which is surrounded by sand, this squat fortification was built around 1865. It was the site of a daring 1902 raid by Ibn Saud, during which a spear was hurled at the main entrance door with such force that the head is still lodged in the doorway. Highlights among the exhibits include maps and fascinating photographs of Saudi Arabia dating from 1912 to 1937. Continue walking to Souq Al-Zal which is one of the oldest traditional market.

Feast on a local lunch meal then head to the Kingdom centre skyscraper for amazing sunset view over the Kingdom capital.

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

Day 3Fly to Al Ula

Check out from hotel and transfer to Ryiadh airport for a domestic flight to Al Ula town, upon arrival transfer in private vehicle to your hotel.

The ancient city of AlUla dates back millennia and is a spectacularly preserved cultural and historical masterpiece. With 200,000 years of human history to uncover, it was once the capital of the North Arabian Lihyanites and then the Nabataeans, and served as a meeting place for pilgrims, merchants and explorers.

Today you will visit the Elephant Rock, also known as Jabal AlFil, one of Al Ula’s many geological marvels. At a walking distance there is a seating area with coffee and rinks in which you can relax and enjoy the scenery.

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

Day 4: Madain Saleh (Hegra) & Deden

Your day starts with a tour to Madain Saleh (AKA Hegra), famous for its 111 monumental tombs, among which 94 were decorated with majestic facades on the sandstone massifs of the area, especially the Jibal Ithlib. The smallest tomb is barely 2,7 meters tall but the biggest reaches an impressive 21,5 meters! Madain Saleh was the second largest city of the Nabatean kingdom whose capital was Petra (in today’s Jordan) where the Nabatean people created more than 600 tombs.

Afterwards explore the ancient oasis of Dedan, that was once the capital of one the oldest kingdoms of Arabia, along with Tayma. The city benefited from both its strategic location along the ancient frankincense trade road between ancient Yemen and the Levant and the abundant underground water resources.

Explore this archeological site and learn how they developed their own culture including a specific language and alphabet, that resulted in a mix of Arabian traditions and strong influences from the surrounding empires.

Meals: Breakfast  & Lunch

Day 5:Old town of AL Ula

Start your day with an early visit to the old town of Al Ula. In the 12th century, AlUla Old town became an essential settlement along the pilgrimage route from Damascus to Makkah and was favorably mentioned by travelers from the 12th to the 20th centuries, when modern AlUla was constructed nearby. The houses were designed to be attached to one another, providing fortification, which hints to defense being a priority for the city’s early inhabitants.

Afterwards take a flight to Jeddah city. Upon arrival transfer to your chosen hotel and relax.

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

Day 6:Into the blue waters of Jeddah

Jeddah is known to have one of the best corals around the world. For the last day, you will hop on a yacht boat and spend cruising around the beach. You will have the chance to swim, snorkel, or even dive in the water to explore the Red sea treasures.

Enjoy a seafood lunch before heading back to your hotel.

In the evening you will visit the old city of Jeddah in a guided tour, known as El Balad which means “the town” as reference to the base of Jeddah.

Al-Balad was founded in the 7th century and historically served as the center of Jeddah. Its defensive walls were torn down in the 1940s. Al Balad is registered as a world heritage UNISCO site and since then the old buildings with its unique window designs and doors are being preserved along with its unique buildings which some have been built using sea shells and stones.

Our tour will go through the history of these building including going inside some of the buildings to see the interior designs, furniture and life back then.
